Homework
Homework will be an optional addition in my classroom. Please note, all homework that is sent home will be unfinished work or an extension of our learning in the classroom. Homework will allow your child to better understand, and develop more confidence in their skills, as well as better prepare each child for the upcoming junior years.
In addition to the optional homework, each child should read 10-15 each night. Reading each night either to themselves, or out loud to a family member, etc. will strengthen your son/daughters skills in fluency, word recognition, spelling, and confidence. Reading is also a great way to get lost in your own world, and de-stress and get ready for the day ahead!
